Introduction

More Than Music

TRIBO is an international, cross-cultural drumming, performance and education project founded by Brazilian percussionist and musical director Marcos Santana.

Through samba-reggae, Afro-Brazilian culture and collective music-making, TRIBO helps children, adults and communities develop creativity, confidence, teamwork and a stronger sense of belonging.

The project began in Morro de São Paulo, Bahia, Brazil, and later expanded to London, where TRIBO now delivers performances, regular training sessions and participatory workshops.
